A hilarious video from China has gone viral, showing hikers struggling to maintain their balance as they climb up the stairs of an ancient mountain, NDTV reported.

Mount Tai, renowned for its spectacular views and serene beauty, is a UNESCO world heritage site that attracts millions of tourists every year.

The video shared by user @roaneatan on X has garnered almost 8 million views in three days.

The video was posted with the caption, “Mount Tai in China. It has 7,200 steps and takes 4 to 6 hours to reach the top, so tourists often regret visiting.”

The video is a compilation of several different clips, consisting of male and female hikers struggling to maintain their balance as they climb up the mountain on wobbly legs and unsteady feet.

Many can be seen crawling and crying, while one hiker was seen being taken on a stretcher.

In one of the snippets from the video, a woman desperately breaks into laughter as she picks herself up from the ground before her unsteady legs break into a wobble and pull her back down.

Another is seen carefully taking baby steps with breaks as her legs and feet shake uncontrollably from the pressure their muscles are under.
